The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be available for purchase starting March 11, 2026. Pre-orders are already live, and Samsung is offering up to $900 off with eligible trade-ins. Best of all, Samsung hasn’t increased the Ultra’s price for the second year running a welcome surprise for buyers.
A Sleeker, Slimmer Design
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is 0.3mm thinner than its predecessor and weighs 214 grams, with a slimmer profile that enhances portability while maintaining a secure, comfortable grip. It comes in Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, Black, and White vibrant colors across the entire lineup, no more muted hues for the Ultra.
The World’s First Built-in Privacy Display
This is the headline feature. The Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces the world’s first built-in Privacy Display for mobile phones, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to privacy at a pixel level. You can activate the privacy display for specific apps, or set it to turn on automatically when entering PINs, patterns, and passwords. No need to buy a third-party screen protector it’s built right in.
Insane Camera System
The S26 Ultra features a 200MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and 10x optical-quality zoom, complemented by a wider aperture for enhanced low-light clarity. It’s also the first Galaxy phone to support Advanced Professional Video (APV) format, allowing for up to 8K at 30fps video recording.
Galaxy AI Smarter Than Ever
The new Now Nudge feature reduces app switching by surfacing relevant information in context for example, when a friend asks about evening plans, Galaxy AI checks your calendar, detects conflicts, and displays a tailored pop-up. Photo Assist has also been upgraded, allowing users to add objects to images, not just remove them, and even transform a day scene into a night scene.
Powerhouse Performance
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, with improved NPU, GPU, and CPU for smoother graphics and faster AI performance. The 5,000 mAh battery remains unchanged, but improved efficiency means you can expect all-day and beyond battery life.
